去年夏天开始，因为长期坐办公室发现自己开始堆肥肉了，于是下定决心认真减肥，郑
大妈，insanity，自行车，跑步举铁 各种的没少折腾自己。过了半年之后，发现再没
肥肉可减了，顿时失去了目标，偶然间发现我毕业的学校组织的sprint triathlon，比
赛地点就在学校游泳馆及校园，纠结了半个月终于在看了众多高手比赛视频，打了鸡血
之后决定报名了。
先说说比赛过程吧，写得比较琐碎，希望大牛们看看多多指教指教，因为之前也是看了
版上的比赛记录觉得很有帮助，所以我也写的很细希望对新人准备第一次有所帮助。
比赛早上七点正式开始，游泳分成3个wave 分别是七点、七点一刻和七点半出发，游泳
就在学校的游泳馆进行，标准泳池 放3个浮标，游8圈。
五点起床吃了早饭，开车到学校已经6点了，领了race package； 里面有赛号 一件纪

您说的那个美国叫sprint triathlon 都称不上铁人Ironman赛事的。
三项赛距离
游泳 骑车 跑步
Sprint (短距离) 750m (0.47mi) 20km (12.4mi) 5km (3.1mi)
Olympic (奥运距离) 1.5km (0.93mi) 40km (24.8mi) 10km (6.2mi)

我建议你从现在到比赛前，每周安排2次游泳+跑步，每次游1000米+跑1-2迈，1次10-15
迈的骑车，周末再进行1次骑+跑的练习，距离是骑10-15迈+跑2-3迈。速度和距离都可
以逐渐往上提高。这样每周的练习时间是5-6小时。
器材方面，建议买一件连体的trisuit. 在本地的triathlon store或网上都可以买到。
新手去实体店的好处是可以得到店员的帮助和建议。Trisuit的好处是省事，比赛当天3
项都只需要穿着它完成下来。头盔是必须的，很多比赛对头盔也有要求，有一些休闲型
的有可能不达标。 |

然报了今年九月的Muskoka 半铁。6月22日有个本地比赛WELLAND TRIATHLON，我想用来
检验一下训练情况，也初次体会一下这项运动的魅力。
我参加的是周六加长型的Spring距离（游泳750米，骑车30公里，跑步7.5公里），周日
还有半铁距离的比赛。我共用时2:12:56，在278名完赛的选手中排215位，在本年龄组
32人里排24。完成了赛前定的目标，对自己的发挥基本满意。
先谈谈训练：
游泳是我的弱项，从去年11月起基本每周游5次左右，自己一个人在YMCA的泳池里练。
因为没跟班（这里好像没有针对成人的），也没请私教，进步比较慢，赛前还从没连续
游过100米以上，平时训练总是游到头后喘几口气再往回游。买来的wetsuit不合身，寄
回去换尺码，最后一个星期还没收到。再加上自己也从没游过开水，我这心里就开始紧
张了。著名的“菜菜鸟”同学听到我在网上唧唧歪歪的诉苦，就仗义地要来陪我游。这
让我既有了动力也有了压力，周四收到wetsuit，赶紧连续两天下水试游，感觉虽然那

supersprint的比赛。现在一点概念都没有，我需要准备些啥呢？
第一个问题，我的自行车是啥时候拿过去？我的比赛是在周六七点半开始，周五又一个
expo，拿package，是不是那个时候就要把车拿过去放在transition area？还是周六早
上拿过去？
第二个问题，今天收到组委会的邮件，给了我一个比赛的号码。顺便提到
You must wear your Chip and strap on your Ankle at all times during the race.
Relay teams transfer the timing chip from swimmer to biker to runner in the
transition area.
No Chip = No Time
那这个chip是组委会提供的还是自备的？怎么从来没听说过啊，如果要自备也不知道哪
儿去买啊。。。
还有啥要注意的么，我啥都不懂，昨天刚下单了racing belt据说要用。。。

发帖数: 270 | 7 2013年10月6日，时隔2年多，我再次参加奥运距离的铁三比赛，这次是在美国马里兰州
的Ellicott 城。这个比赛叫做Rev3 Half-Full Triathlon，因为原本主赛是半个大铁
，副赛是标铁，但后来标铁加进了MACTC（大西洋中部高校联盟）的年度决赛，于是主
次又搞得有点混乱了。作为NCSU学校铁三队一员，我因为超龄(28+)被弄到Age Group里
面去比，2h39’46，刷新PR15’多钟，总名次55/317，25-29年龄组8/21，贵校也拿下
21所学校总成绩的第3，学校去最快的都213了，才排第十，美国这边水平真心伤不起。
比赛看似顺利，成绩也还不错，但其实遭遇颇为曲折惊险，待我慢慢道来。
比赛地距离我所在的北卡路程颇远，我是请了假才在周六早上跑掉，驱车五六个小时赶
过去的。这个比赛，我做了一段时间的准备：大概从7月就开始练习骑车，游泳也没有
长时间间断，虽然长进不大，但好歹还是保持了自己一个接近巅峰的状态吧；跑步虽然
没有去年刚来美国时候的黄金状态，但也不至于太菜，怎么也会比在十三陵的2次标铁

这次triathlon是人生头一回。本想下点本钱，把自己武装到牙齿去参赛的，后来还是
决定少花钱多办事。本来想买套wetsuit的（穿上了很象‘疯狂的石头’里那位‘顶你
个肺’的乡党），后来想想算了，就穿平时游泳的裤衩吧；本来想买辆half decent的
road bike的，后来想想算了，就去买辆二手的山地吧，到了暑假还能卖给新生。。。
今天一大早到达赛场时被吓了一跳：一大群‘顶你个肺’已经整装待发了。光着膀子的
小弟实在是有点鹤立……那个鸡群。游泳开始了，和肺肺们一起下了湖。很快地，再次
感到了自己的social outcast：和dominating的自由泳相比，我的蛙泳实在是上不了台
面啊。眼看着自己被蹭蹭地超过，只能念叨着‘他强由他强，清风拂山岗’来自我安慰
了。最后小弟以本年龄组倒数第二的成绩结束1.5km的游泳比赛。
游泳完了是40km的自行车赛。我骑着上礼拜从老江那里买来的车子上了路。很快就发现
山地车不但因为轮胎宽，骑起来费劲，而且效率特别低，骑车的时候会做很多无用功。
选手们都以1圈甚至是2圈的优势超过我（总共4圈），就连几个身材臃肿的阿 |

玩三项好多都是设备控，对网站吸引不同种类的广告也有帮助啊。
自行车，跑鞋，泳衣泳裤，各种太阳眼镜，袜子，背心，鱼油，钙片和各种大力丸，各
类训练器材，健身保护器材，手表，营养指南，训练指南，机票，住店......
真是商机无限啊。别犹豫赶紧吧，说着说着我都想自己去开一版了。 |

本来想跑10月的半马，可是跑伤了腿，趴窝迄今已经5周了，听从某跑步达人的教导，
为了fully recovery，还在继续趴ing。然后决定在把手头上的一些工作完成好的前提
下，趁着秋天和冬天好好地LHR base training。于是乎，下一次的local附近的半马应
该在明年6月左右，或者10月。至于sprint triathlon，等年底降价的时候买车，然后
准备参加我今年6月做志愿者的那个（这个是真的local，离我家骑车只有半个小时左右，跑
步的path就是我平时跑步的路线），以作纪念。
不好意思呀，我是菜鸟，通常做一件事要花很长时间。。。 |

假定这个WSN的基本物理参数是标准体重+20磅，标准腰围+4寸；游泳：只能用蛙泳在池子游俩来回；自行车：以前上下学天天骑2迈，毕业后就没骑过了；跑步：从来没有这习惯。那么，他要用多长时间来准备第一个triathlon呢？
那些认为这个命题荒谬，无聊，ridiculous的同学请把手里的板砖放下去。你是不是想说酱紫的WSN根本就不会想去搞小三？动机我可以想出一大堆：和朋友打赌；想使身体变强壮；想完成这个不可能的任务，人生从此上一台阶……如果非得找出个实例你才信的话：05年底的我就是这样的WSN，07年5月完成了Olympic triathlon，现在正在准备ironman.

我开始搞 triathlon 的原因有点奇怪。我不是为了练身体（平时就有在骑车跑步）
不是为了谁，不是募款，不是为了证明什么。这么说好了，triathlon 是我的
anti-depressant. 如果不做的话会闷出毛病的。
我 2008 年时生活转了一个很大的，自己从来都没考虑过的，弯道。在你们看来可能
没什么（最起码我 ld 觉得没什么），那就是我终于放弃 academic career 进了
公司当起了小小工程师。工资翻倍，上下班准时，地点还近了一半。但是我还是觉得
生活突然空了，前面的道路不再是充满新奇希望的小径，却是拥挤的阳关道。我 ld

county triathlon series里面的一个。游泳750yard是在海里。
9月25日，也是附近，有一个Orangeman Triathlon，70.3 Iranman distance，今年是
第一届。游泳1.2mi也是在海里。
明年5月份，orange county triathlon, olympic distance。就是两周前刚完成的那个
，打算明年接着参加。
明年7月份，vineman 70.3，貌似很火，只是离家太远，开车要8~10个小时。作为终极
目标吧
不知道今年9月份的70.3报swim only(1.2mi ocean swim)还是aquabike(1.2mi ocean
swim+56mi bike)，全程包括13mi run是肯定下不来的，而且脚踝也扭伤了恢复中。如
果70.3报aquabike，之前的sprint triathlon就报swim only，适应ocean swim。如果

这些是真的tri bike么， 还是就是road bike加了个aerobar?

I decided to run to work as usual. The run felt so easy and it became a
tempo run after 1 mile warm up. I can’t help comparing the intensity of
triathlon races to running races.
Here is an approximate intensity comparison, at least to me:
sprint = swim + 10k
olympic = swim + half marathon
half iron = swim + marathon
iron = swim + 50 miler
double iron = swim + 100 miler

Swim, Ride, Run）中的一种。除了遐迩闻名的超长距离铁人三项（Ironman Triathlon
泳1.9公里；自行车90公里；长跑21.1公里），以及奥林匹克标准距离三项（Olympic
Triathlon：游泳1.5公里，自行车40公里，长跑10公里），三项赛还有一个短距离三项
（Sprint Triathlon：游泳0.75公里；自行车20公里；长跑5公里），被简称为“小三
”。
去年1月份达标波士顿马拉松不久，我就开始心仪小三。今年4月份跑完波士顿马拉松之
后，没有了继续跑全程马拉松的计划，玩小三的兴趣越来越浓。然而，由于我知道自己
游泳水平很差，玩小三的难度比较大，因此，就一直没有采取行动。我工作单位健身房

Wearing triathlon wetsuits (or do you say triathlon wet suit?) should give
you a potential or an actual swimming speed boost. You do not have this free
swim speed boost in non triathlon wetsuits or without triathlon wetsuits.
