我另外有个veggie bed,买了18unit的土,那个周末才搞定,苗苗还没长出来。
你去花版问,那里都是老农民,黄瓜现在太晚了,要种这个季节的东西才行。
另外你搭veggie bed, 不要买frame,太贵。买木头自己搭便宜。买ceda的木头
不烂,homedepot有卖的。土要买3unit一代的,便宜。

(另原lz和Suzie农场没啥关系。这个Suzie's Farm的Suzie很特别,大家去参观时就知道名字的来历了。)
今天重新介绍是因为我觉得与其叫参观农场,叫农家乐应该更贴切。因为参观的大部分时间是我们在摘菜--终于圆了我“这边摘菜那边吃”的梦。(我自己家不太适合种菜,结果每次长的菜都寥寥无几,一顿都不够吃。今天我第一次摘菜摘得很开心。另外还学到了其实很多我平时扔掉的花/茎/叶都可以(生)吃的。)
盼望已久,今日终于成行。很挑剔的老大觉得这个比他想象的好玩。老二摘豆角,玩泥沙也是不亦乐乎。不过灰尘还是有点大,不适合太小的孩子。(这个public tour人挺多的,不过十个人以上就可以组织private tour了,大家甚至可以去self-guided tour。)
老美都是拿的那种大的多次使用的购物袋,只有我们拿了个小的塑料袋。我觉得这个大购物袋装的一大包新鲜的有机菜绝对是不只10美元的,而且一般U-pic... 阅读全帖

I love the vitamix from Costco. Easy to use, easy to clean. The stick is
handy in pushing down the veggie/fruits to be blended. My kids do not have
time to eat fruit. Smoothie or smoothie pop is a good way to ensure they
get their daily 5 servings of veggie/fruit. Investing in a good tool is one
method to encourage you to use it more often.

刚才根据精华区里面的食物热量表粗略估算了一下我典型一天的摄入:
早餐: soymilk 1 cup, oatmeal 1 cup,250卡; omelet,100; coffee&milk,20; cake,
两口,100.
午餐:rice 1 cup,260;beef 3OZ,185; veggie,stir fried,50.
水果: grapefruit half,40;mandarin small 30
晚餐: rice 1 cup,260;pork tenderloin 6OZ,280;veggie,50
晚上零食:beef jerky 3oz,270;yogurt plain 1cup,110;cheeseball 10pc,待查.
这么算下来 我一天能吃下去超过2000卡! 这还不是我吃的多的一天. 刚开始跑步的那
段时间我吃得更更更多. 天哪!
我身高155,体重大概105磅吧,好多年没称过,今晚回家称一下. 大家帮看看, 怎么调整
一下饮食合适.

大概2周稳定下来之后,会每周update 1-2次,暂时还是每天update.
周二休息了
今天恢复训练,前天的力量训练昨天休息后,双臂和后背的酸痛大减,第一次体验到了 after-
burn 的效果
今天训练完后,体重为 175.2 磅 (昨天没运动,饮食正常,居然减了1.8 磅,当然其中有部分是
训练后的脱水,不过周一的体重177磅也是训练后测量的)
-- 饮食:
4 meals
breakfast ($5): egg whites 1/2 pounds + oatmeal + 1 egg yolk
lunch ($8): veggies + fish fillet + small amount of chicken breast
meal 3 ($2): fruits
meal 4 ($7.5): 1 whole wheat wrap + chicken breast + veggies (lettuce,
tomato, carrot and broccoli)

应该还好。。。

早上:一片全麦面包+butter(搽了不少,俺就爱吃这些, 知道不好,血脂会高);一
小杯咔啡(还好俺家的杯子小),加了creamer和brownsugar;俺每天最enjoy的就是喝
咖啡时间;
等一下去海边玩一玩,尽量少吃吧;
其实吃是其次,大多是为了social, 朋友聚在一起多开心啊,大家都在吃,你说要减
肥,多扫兴啊,主人很热情,你不吃他还以为他做的不好吃呢。
这三天都过得很开心;、、
今天可能去看电影,记住不要吃popcorn, or 只吃几口就好;
好了,俺要出去玩了;
中午:roasted chicken 腿部只吃了2/3;一些veggie;fries cheese,bacon (那种真的很好吃,很rich, 但俺还是吃了大概10条吧;
在看电影的时候还是吃了大概5,6口popcorn吧,没喝coke, 只喝水
运动:在海边走走,大概30mins吧;better than nothing、
晚上:3小片肉,3口紫署;一些veggie;2小片米果;
long weekend就这样过去了;明天开始努力工作,运动了

晚上:贡丸米粉汤,没什么油,里面还有些青菜;
没运动。。。

要求不高,只要不长,在减就行。。。

Exercised: 2 miles' walking
Shouldn't eat too many rice crispy bars and Saqima. Cannot control my diet
now. :-(
