发帖数: 3987 | 1 大概就是cam follower先磨损。说07及以前的high pressure pump（Audi和VW turbo）常碰到的问题。
拆了pump检查follower和camshaft的lobe，follower磨损厉害的话，camshaft lobe也会被磨损。链接里第二个case开了58k，没有磨损camshaft lobe。follower base的黑色部分被磨完了，不过还在。应该是整个base都磨完了,pump plunger的tip才会磨到camshaft lobe。
如果camshaft lobe有严重磨损，但是plunger没事，换follower和camshaft。
如果plunger tip也严重磨损，泥马整个pump就要换了。（dealership TSB）
具体操作链接：
vw或者audi turbo，07年之前的同学们都自行检查吧。一个follower10块左右，趁早换，因为早晚都要换的。不在manual里，悠着点，各位。
我是不太确定能不能拆下来那个pump了。。。只好去dealer搞了。

标志亮了，去autozone查表，就是一个电表一样的东西插到汽车电路上查，说我的
camshaft position sensor出问题了，他解释我也没听懂，是管什么的？严重吗？
我的 70000 mileage PT cruiser 车现在的问题是，
1.
冷车情况我点火要好久才能点着，但有的时候一打就着，热车情况下基本上都是一打就
着。
2.
有的时候在40mpg时候车会突然振动很大，不是上下震，而是前后振。
另外如若修自己能换吗？autozone说这个camshaft position sensor一个40块，我去修
车铺他们说换一个最便宜120，我想如果我从autozone买下来不知道自己换上去可能性
大吗？ |

题。
但感觉不出来动力和油耗有变化，所以想问一下，这个exhaust camshaft sensor如果
不换，会有什么大影响？反正手里有reset tool，大不了一个月清一次得了

google了一下，主要就是争论这个磨损是哪的。据说稍老一点的turbo都基本遇到过这
问题。
据说有人在白痴dealer花了几千换了油泵，还是不行。
单有人花了10多块自己换了个camshaft follower就好了。 |

P0021困扰了近半年，最近终于完全搞清楚，写下来供人参考吧。
三个体会：1.别乱扔钱买新零件，2.别图省钱省事引入新问题，新问题会把本来的问题
给遮住，把简单的问题复杂化，3.O Ring这些小东西尽量用原厂的，花几十块钱换个O
Ring也有一腚的道理。
P0021字面的查询结果是

Tech performed a check and found codes p0015 “camshaft position “B”-
timing over-retarded (bank1).
Agree to replace: Cam timing valve assembly, Air surge intake gasket, and
possible valve cover gasket.
But when removing the valve cover, tech found the camshaft shaft gear
assembly right side bank1 was broken: Cam gear dislodged from cam lobe.
Will need new cam gears and cam lobe, valve housing assy and possible other
parts. Recommend replace both BANK1 and 2.

今天跑去dealer那儿检查车子，因为车加完油没跑多远，发动机灯亮了，VSC灯也亮了。
到后告知检查费$145(税后)，如同意由他们修，那就免检查费。干吧，来都来了！
近一个半小时检查后，一位女代表召唤我，DTC P0015(BANK1)，检查显示时好时坏，建
议相关组件都得换，税前$1345，再给优惠$192……
乖乖，这车也才一万多，于是电话家人，半小时后还是决定在这儿修。自己开，那安全
绝对第一；如果有机会卖，良心上也过得去。虽然割肉了，心情还是好的。被告知明天
可以提车，便道了谢谢，就拜拜了！
晚上六点左右，dealer来电，上来就问我们是否可以去一趟，电话里怕解释不清楚。大
娃已饿得叫了，我和二娃出月子不久，不想再跑，关键老公不会英语。就问怎么了，说

发帖数: 1326 | 23 我误解了...我在想每侧两根凸轮轴,左右两侧共计4根. 然后一侧的两根一上一下，类
似于DOHC但是把凸轮挪到边上。如果一侧一根的话肯定是放上面划算。
然后发觉其实可以用的camshaft+推杆的排列组合还是挺多的：
a. 总共4根camshaft，左右各两根，一根排气一根进气。
b. 共总两根camshaft,左右各一根。每根排气进气都管。
c. 共总两根camshaft,都在中间，一个管排气，一个管进气。
d. 中间一根camshaft.
或许减少Camshaft数量省下的成本可以用来上高档的气门/推杆材料（类似于之前提到
的corvett上的钛合金？)，最后的结果可能也不差。。。 |

发帖数: 12525 | 28 其实这里绝大部分人都是没干过的,干过的都不肯给你指点,你不需要
拆head,更不需要拆intake exhaust,你的valve绝对没有损坏,损坏车
早不能开了,你得赶紧修,不然valve stem上的卡子掉了valve掉下去
车就废了.
你赶紧找把螺丝刀,用螺丝刀捅捅camshaft上每个凸轮下面的valve lifter,
看看哪个松了.松了就是断了,不然也许是别的原因.
比如第三缸松了,那就拆第三缸的火花塞,打手电从火花塞孔里照下去,
然后叫人旋转crankshaft直到你从火花塞孔里看到活塞往上顶到了头.
这个时候,找瓶白色修改液,标记crankshaft pulley位置和2个camshaft
齿轮位置,然后拆掉camshaft齿轮,用钢丝吊起timing chain.再拆掉断掉
valve对应的camshaft.
剩下来的活比较细致,需要极大的耐心,valve上端有2个卡子,拆掉很容易,
拆掉装新弹簧,装进去就很麻烦,是个非常细致的活,千万别掉了.对手艺的
要求远远超过对工具的要求,基本上一把尖嘴钳就能干. |

volvo的思想封闭导致许多设计与世界主流严重脱节
注意:不是脱节,而是严重脱节.
举个例子,无论日车美车德车,你要打开发动机,首先取掉的是valve cover,
取掉valve cover后,你就可以看到固定在head block上的camshaft.
这是世界主流的设计方案,简单明了,维护方便.漏油了换个valve cover gasket就成.
但是volvo呢?妈的第一次看到真的吓了一跳,volvo这车竟然没有valve cover,
发动机最上面的一大块铝板竟然是用来固定camshaft,拧掉铝板,camshaft就掉出来了.
肏,这都是啥番薯脑瓜设计的破玩意,这一设计导致valve和camshaft故障奇高,
valve漏油了这维护的复杂程度简直不可同日而语.
所以啊,volvo这种垃圾公司要不破产也难,真的难,真不明白你们有什么好舔的 |

根据板上的建议，我从amazon上订了tensioner和camshaft synchronizer，本来是打算
都换的。因为换tensioner相对简单，所以先换这个。结果发现amazon上面买的螺丝偏
小，没有办法旋进去（amazon上面显示匹配的看来不一定匹配）。因为已经拆下来了，
就只要去local再买了一个tensioner，顺便又买了idler pulley一起换上。结果好了，
已经一天了，再了没有出现叫声。真好！呵呵
所以camshaft synchronizer也没换，打算和tensioner一起都退给amazon了。而且发现
amazon上面订的synchronizer带的sensor很奇怪，sensor的盖子里并没有一个小金属片
，看网络上说都应该是有一个小金属片来感应camshaft的position的。 |

你知道distributor都装在哪里？装在车底下的crankshaft？还是装在车上面的
camshaft？
nissan ka24de的发动机有crankshaft poisition sensor, 装在transmission
bell house上，但是不参与engine control，只用来诊断camshaft position
sensor是否正常工作

1. 很多人给MDX和TL（SH-AWD版）做过dyno，四个轮的轮上马力大概在280多左右，网
上可以查到很多dyno实测结果，最好的甚至轮上就已经超过300马力。种种迹象表明

上周末把timing belt换了。 由于中间犯了一个致命的错误 - 换完后第二天返工又来了

ignition timing是靠timging belt驱动camshaft再驱动distributor cap里的rotor
来奠定基本点火时间基础,再靠distributor cap细微角度差别和ECU综合微调点火时刻
valve timing也是靠timing belt物理驱动camshaft再驱动进/排气阀
来奠定基本的valve开启/关闭的时间基础. VTEC/VVT等技术用于控制开启时间长短
通常所谈的timing提前/滞后,则是专指ignition timing,也是指它的一系列微调系统.

Your timing belt cannot be seen because it is encased behind the front engin
e cover. The timing belt is the connection between the engine’s crankshaft
and camshaft. As it rotates around the crankshaft and camshaft sprockets, pr
oper timing is maintained. On some engines, the timing belt may also drive t
he water and oil pump, or a balance shaft. Some engines may have timing gear

In the SOHC engine the camshaft is installed in the cylinder head and valves
are operated either by the rocker arms or directly through the lifters (as
in the picture).
The advantage is that valves are operated almost directly by the camshaft -
easy to achieve the perfect timing at high rpm. Also it's possible to
install three or four valves per cylinder

），车主说11300刀。我正在犹豫中
我的concern主要有两点：
1. 他的tire， timing belt和 brakes都是original；tires是已经磨损得快要换了；
我想知道timing belt和brakes一般都是用多久需要换？（车主说90K的时候换也不迟）
passat换这两个东西labor加parts 大概需要多少？
2. edmunds上说06年的passat，reliability中的引擎有较严重的问题（一把红叉） “

发帖数: 577 | 48 上贴说过，timing 虽然随时都可以重设，如果是自己第一次做，最简单的就是在拆出
旧的TB前counterclockwise转crankpulley,把Timing设到No1 piston d TDC，对于
accord，这里有4个pulley:
1. Camshaft pulley的 “UP" Mark 需要正上 --- 这个跟crank pulley 的timing
mark匹配 (照片1）
2. crank pulley TDC mark要align到oil pump上的Mark （照片2）
3. Left front balancer pulley (照片3）
4. Right front balancer pulley (照片4）
然后就是松开tensioner Bolt后，把里面那个tensioner往下压（照片5），外面那个往
上推（照片6），两条带就一起松下来了--- 这个其实看一下就明白朝那个方向推了，
因为反方向只能让belts更紧
记得换WP前要先放掉coolant，否则水漫金山！换WP就没啥说的了，感觉看不看手册都
无所谓，拧螺丝不要太松或者太紧就好。
