这么热闹的帖子,踩一脚说两句:
我是半专业修车的,自个换过正时皮带,
你那个灯亮了,是因为对正时的时候crankshaft 和
Camshaft的 timing mark 没有对准,有可能错了半齿或一个齿。这个很常见。
错过了正时, 发动机的活塞和进气就出现不合拍,造成燃烧不充分,从而尾气排放不
合格,造成engine light 亮。

发动机灯亮是监测尾气标准的,任何机械故障会造成尾气超标的都会trip engine
light.

The codes relate to the intake valve timing control. This is not the
camshaft angle sensor or the crank angle sensor. Basically, Nissan uses
variable valve timing and what is going on is the variable valve timing is
sticking. This was a problem on older Nissan cars. After 1999 the problem
was pretty much corrected. Now, you say that after the oil was changed the
problem goes away for a time. Just to let you know, the variable valve
timing uses oil and the variation in oil pressure to advan

我去 autozone 查了,用的OBD-II仪表,读出来的code是P0341 Camshaft Position
Sensor Circuit Range/Performance。 他们可以帮忙读code,但他们不会清除代码,
他们建议我去dealer那里。
因为我想知道是否因为这个DISTRIBUTOR的问题引起check engine light亮,所以清除
一下内存,如果灯还亮,说明是其他问题了。所以,还请coliphage 说说怎么清除吧,

搞了个euro spec的。但是detune过,搞成了single vanos,现在给我换成了dual
vanos,在搞了uuc 的rsc36,还有racing camshaft。但是好久没有dyno了,不知道具体多少rwhp

发动机里很多都不是铁啊。不是铁、镍的都吸不到。。
机油里的金属:
Iron: Comes from cylinder liner, camshaft, oil pump, and timing chain wear
Chromium: Comes from piston ring wear
Copper: Comes from bearings, valve guides, and bushings wear
Lead: Comes from bearing wear
Aluminum: Comes from piston and piston thrust bearing wear
Silver & Tin: Comes from bearing wear

much smaller S65B40's
for DOHCs, the twin camshafts are PART of the cylinder head
and they're revving parts, so you have to further strengthen the head due to
NVH concerns
so the head is finally much taller than the one on a OHV
I once presented you the picture showing Ford's 4.6L DOHC and 5.0L OHV
together
probably you didn't pay any attention to it...
go look at that picture, you'll understand why I say an OHV head is much
more compact than a DOHC head.

boxer engine要用dohc得用4根camshaft,成本比较高,只有wrx、sti上才舍得用啊。
不过它这个sohc的性能也说的过去了,跟主流买菜车4缸DOHC性能差不多。

Cooling completed on 12/2006
Cooling-Parts came from Bavarian Autosport and have ALL receipts: Water
pump, gasket, pulley, all belts, expansion tank bleeder, radiator cap,
both upper and lower hose, thermostat... all is new and should not have
to be touched for another 70K miles.
Another item that malfunctions are the camshaft position sensor (intake
and exhaust), both were replaced in 11/2007.. also have receipts.

小二参考VW的explanation,说camshaft position (CMP)sensor “intake"
circuit bank 1
Explanation:
1 poor electrical connection
2 faulty CMP sensor
3 engine mechanical condition
他拔下code reader以后CEL就灭了,直到开回家一直没亮。
偶正在学习saabcentral的历史文件。

不要骂我啦,车拿来的时候就这样。(98 mazda prptege lx)
还很脆,大多一碰就掉,让我很紧张,因为common sense 告诉我掉在机油系统里面可
能后果不大

最近入手了一辆07 mercury montego. check engine light 检查出来code P0340. 因
为赶着回家,就在当地一个dealer检查了一下,花了100多。本来想自己换一下,回来
一看powertrain是五年保修,这个检查的钱是不是应该可以要回来?维修是不是也免费
的?

那边人说这次绝对修好了,然后发现其实是
camshaft sensor的问题, 又要450刀,最后
和他们吵结果还是交了150.

我知道matlab可以做傅里叶分析,但我手里没有。我能听出I5/V10的两个主频率相差约
为一个小三度,所以我预测在matlab的频谱分析上应该能看出两个高峰,而且频率值之
比约为2的四次方根(2^(3/12)),也就是一个比另一个高12%。版上有没有搞过频谱的来
试试?
至于我说我给出的声音特征是结构使然,属于逻辑推理。完全不同的I5车子,引擎声有
明显的相似特性,有两个解释:1、引擎结构使然;2、两车碰巧使用了一样的排气系统
。很明显,前者要合理得多。。。
用声音来分析机械是一门学问,通过噪音来找那个零件有明显振动。通过频率关系可以
推理出一些简单结论。比如有的引擎能听到八度的和声,八度意味着频率翻倍,也就是
说某个东西比另一个东西转的快一倍。crankshaft比camshaft就快一倍,balance
shaft又比crankshaft快一倍。诸如此类。

汽油机的噪音主要来源确实是机械噪音,其中主要还是活塞在TDC附近发出的
其次是camshaft,这个转速只有曲轴一半
要说双倍转速的部件,I4的平衡轴倒是一个,但是不是噪音主要来源啦

就算不考虑价格的话,这个用在SL65 AMG上的turbo V12 (M158)还是挺古董的,一根
camshaft,一个缸上3个valve,没有VVT,没有DI。发动机重不说,声音也不行。
双离合也没有。
那两片树叶也有点接受不了。
排气倒是很漂亮。

这个气动气门当rpm高的时候气门的动作就变得难控制了,他把转速提到9000rpm的时候
,那个平台就不见了,变成了尖尖的峰,所以说气门开关动作还是不够快。也许菜车低
转速引擎用这个合适。另外不知道VVL如何实现,传统的Camshaft (机械控制)+ CVVL
(电机控制)还是比这个可控性强吧。这系统重量体积真是优势。至于积累压缩空气普
通引擎也能做啦。

嗯,气动本身不是问题,很成熟的技术
尖峰这个,毕竟你到9000rpm了本身给你开闭的时间窗口也很小
就算不用气动,传统的camshaft的话你利用凸轮轴,
cam和弹簧做动的话也不是真正的instantaneous,弹簧作用下气门归位也需要时间
如果能有对比看一下传统valvetrain在9000rpm下的表现或许更方便评估新系统的水平
另外这个气动我觉得不应该是简单的on/off,那么利用气动量控制做动行程
那就是vvl了

F1上18k rpm的气门就是压缩空气控制的,不知道开气门的程度是不是也是一个峰。反
正camshaft出来的肯定是一个峰。
我觉得主要是要歇缸的话,这么控制容易多了

Nissan VQ35DE,2004,12万迈
P0021困扰了近半年,最近终于完全搞清楚,写下来供人参考吧。
三个体会:1.别乱扔钱买新零件,2.别图省钱省事引入新问题,新问题会把本来的问题
给遮住,把简单的问题复杂化,3.O Ring这些小东西尽量用原厂的,花几十块钱换个O
Ring也有一腚的道理。
P0021字面的查询结果是
A P0021 DTC trouble code may be caused by one or more of the following:
Incorrect camshaft timing
Wiring problems (harness/wiring) in intake timing control valve control
solenoid system
Continuous oil flow to VCT piston chamber
Failed timing valve control solenoid (stuck open)

没错,都是老概念。
唯一区别就是都是通过推杆,而不是直接overhead cam (camshaft挪到中间或者侧
面),希望尽量减少boxer的宽度,所以不算是sohc or dohc.

06 saab 9-5,经常白天开亮灯,晚上再出门就灭了,第二天早上又亮
抽空去Autozone读了code,有两个P1312, 和P0340
1312是Open or short circuit condition. Failed exhaust gas temperature sensor
. Poor electrical connection. Failed ignition coil.
0340是Camshaft position sensor signal.
上网做了一下功课,一般这两个code是火花塞问题
借了朋友的工具卸了火花塞看看,也看不出什么问题,不过还是去autozon买了NGK
PFR6H-10 Laser Platinum,还没现货,等了一天。测了一下gap,出厂大约是0.95mm不
到一点,就都调到0.95mm。
装好以后接头的地方抹一点Dielectric grease。再盖好DIC。
打火,还有灯。网上说如果故障消除了,是三次打火以后就会灭灯。
我是拆了dash左边的fuse box第三排左数第一个20 amp的fuse,等5分钟再装上,打火

1996 E36 M3, 5sp maunal, 210k miles. Yes, very high mileage. over $3000
replacement parts in past year. The owner is a guy I know. I want to buy
this car, and have fun as a toy for maybe several years, even though it
would be difficult to sell it later. The exterior and interior is very good
compared to other similar age E36.
Please help me to take a look at the stuff that have been changed, is there
anything also might need replacement? I will test drive the car next week.
