我在华盛顿州，准备从一个小公司跳槽到一个大公司。给了小公司一个two-week
notification后，只过了一个星期就被let go了。小公司并且威胁我说，如果我加入大公司，会用
Non-Competitive Agreement告我。我当初因为只有一个offer并且要赶4月份h1b，所以就签
了NCA(其实那时候也不知道有这么严重，第一份工作啊）。关键是现在我并不认为大公司是小公
司的competitor，而且我就是小公司里的一个小小software engineer，小公司如此兴师动
众也是我意料不到的。一不小心就变成李开复了。
各位兄弟姐妹有建议的请不吝赐教，有经验的请多交流。有什么律师能帮我evaluate我的case的
赢面有多大么？ |

They have to prove the big company is a competition, then
even that they have to pay you just for not working in the
big company.
I guess your ex-company is just pissed off that you leave. |

Thanks for everyone who gave me advice for my first dance competition. It was
a very fun experience. My partener and I did much better than I had expected.
We danced all 8 categories in newcomer level and out of 30 some couples, we
got into 5 semifinals and 3 finals. We received 3 ribbons for 2 fifth place
(inter waltz and tango) and 1 seventh place (inter rumba). Condered that I

另外呢， 话说美国这边HR的习惯是， 除非非常特别的情况，不方便透露招人的公司的
具体名称等等细节以外， 一般找人的广告是会说什么公司或者机构在找人， 然后还有
公司文化，市场地位，以及这个工作的 职务描述， 资历要求等等方面沉長的描述。
找人的公司一方面要给投简历的人多一点的信息而愿意去投， 另一方面其实也是把这
个找人的过程当作企业Branding 或者给自己做广告的一个机会了。 薪水方面到不一
定说的很具体，DOE 就可以。 如果是销售方面的工作， 可能会给一个 base 的幅度
， 加 bonus， commission 等等offer。或者就是competitive compensation package
等等， 留下谈判的空间。
最近很多国内刚过来美国投资办企业的移民， 经常在雇人的问题上很困惑， 被“
shock”， 说：这美国都经济危机了， 员工找工作还这么挑剔啊！ 呵呵，他们是不
知道美国的情况。
写怎么多也是有感而发， 因为 最近才帮一个国内企业家搞定他招员工的事情， 他们

be more patient. I always focus on my lower body, so when I decided to
prepare for NPC level bikini, my fitness friends suggested me put more
muscle and add more definition on shoulders and arms. Now, my shoulders and
arms are still not big enough in their opinions (they do competitions), but

just a bit suprise after looking at the scruteering sheets. dancedance's
teacher (a standard coach) is the only judge that gave us 3 seconds and 1
first (waltz)....I would have thought that we would get better placements
from a standard judge......but you just never know....and his wife placed us
really well. =)

college teams in the whole state, both at least 3 hours drive away, and it also looks like they

competitions in all three of them. but the amateur events won't be as large
as in the northeast. but they'll be good starting points.
where do you take lessons now? do your teachers have any recommendations?

but what I meant to say is that the reason that the very small number of
competitors in the pro/am compeitions is due to the high price tag. I
belive events like MAC has a magnitute more number of competitors comparing
with the pro/am competitions.

placed in First place in Samba and Jive at last weekend's local small
competition, it was small, but we went through quarter, semi and final and
placed first, very encouraging and felt getting paid back for hard working,

I took a paso lesson and was ready to leave. Her partner was sorting out
their old video tapes which have their competitions and show dances. Those
are amazing! OMG! I am blown away. I have special eyes to pick my teachers.
