常宽泛，首先是“整个公司”，不是我的DEPARTMENT，公司做的东西太多了；其次，没
有限定具体某一类型的工作）。
我之前的OFFER LETTER里并没有这一项。所以想问一下大家的OFFER LETTER里是否有这
个？如果有的话，是否也是没有具体定义的霸王条款？有没有人因为这种条款找过律师
咨询过或者和公司协商修改条款过？

AAMC said to "reduce" the dependence on foreign-trained doctors, not to "
eliminate" them.

. the competition has been, and always will be, tough. 10-15 yr ago, no
USMLEworld, no kaplan, few FMG in program (meaning more prejudice), ppl get
matched then went through a more uncertain, difficult path ... so no whining
, go ahead if u like medicine, rather than thinking it is a "easy" choice of
some kind ... good luck. |

You really have to do something that will have a direct impact on your ex-
employer's revenue before they stands any chance winning a case in court.
Also, they will have to have hard evidence to prove it. It doesnt mean that
you can ignore it though. My suggestion is try maintain a very good
relationship with you ex-employer and keep everything very very discrete

按照拿到的这个non-competition agreement，无论什么原因离职，两年内不能做
trading相关工作，而且公司在付现有工资后可以禁止你为竞争者工作。
我未来还是想做quant，有机会试试trader。考虑到这么强的限制，手头这个offer似
乎没什么意思。毕竟数字也不算高。
板上考古，有人说这些条款看似很强，都是干打雷不下雨，一般员工没事。真是这样吗？

Indeed, there are many Ph.D. programs that can be closed. The first one on
my list to close would be the Religion program in Columbia university. Why
do we need Ph.D.'s specializing in religion? Leave that area to the rabis
and ministers!
