01年的时候，我从平顶山卫校毕业，用MD的头衔，在美国50名左右的医学院找到了
postdoc的位置。之后的两年里我专心考board，在科研上产出很低。03年的时候，我被
告知，虽然board考的非常好，但美国不承认卫校的MD学历。无奈之下我只好放弃了从
医之路。于是在科研的道路上一走10多年。
04年的时候，老板拿了NIA的一个大PO1 grant。几个中心一起做端粒的研究。当时这个
概念炒得很火。我们lab主要负责药物筛选。化合物库是默克的。默克当时用这个库筛
出了几个一型糖尿病的小分子，做得很成功，但用完后，这个库就废了。大概有13万多
个compound吧。我的任务就是从这13万多个compound里面筛选出有用的，用于抗衰老的
研究。
我先做酵母模型，做了1年多吧，筛出了几个化合物，这些化合物可以显著影响酵母衰

看到investopedia上关于interest rate compounding的计算：

我觉得前面一半完全错了，按照他那种算法，同样是年利率12%, compounding越freque
nt，反而最后实际利率变低了。
按照以前学的，如果年利率12% continuous compounding, 实际利率应该是exp(0.12)
= 1.1275%。
难道这网页上要说明的问题是同样百年实际利率6%的情况下，compounding rate的大小
？那的确是compounding越frequent，需要的rate越低。不过实在不明白不明白这样的计
算有什么意义。

compound呢?
好像spacking compound不能用在会热胀冷缩的地方,所以一般用来补补钉子的洞. |

发帖数: 895 | 7 今天painter来房子里把墙纸撕了，painter说有一部分hallway的墙纸下面有joint
compound，很难除掉。painter说有两种解决方案：
1. 直接在joint compound上面刷primer，然后刷漆。joint compound应该不会影响油
漆的质量。他会找油漆店里的人来评估这个方案。
2. 加钱请人把joint compound一点一点的刮掉。还没说要加多少钱，听他的意思估计4
，5百块是需要的的。
请问，joint compound有那么难搞掉吗？是不是一定需要搞掉？ |

拔出来。弩射出的箭，经常是箭头会穿透靶子的另一侧。要两个人一个拉一个在另一边
推，还要用腿顶住3D靶子来帮着固定。小的3D靶子，好像完全穿透过。
从好玩上来说，还是recurve好玩。现代的compound弓和弩都可以先进到让一个新人1，
