表格填好，拿到做fingerprint的地方，他们做好了，会自动发给护士局那边。
这个表格上最主要的是有一个Originating Agency Identification (ORI) number。据
说公司做好了，就是按照这个number发到护士局的。 |

I found this one on Amazon (and also on the ishoppingdeals website). It's
supposed to be specifically for the Touchpad, and from the photos, it looks
like it has the right cutouts. Don't know... the Touchpad wasn't out long
enough for a lot of accessories to be produced by 3rd parties...

fingerprinting step, but the purpose of fingerprinting is just to capture
some biometrics so that they can identify you in the future. Fingerprint is
a unique biometric feature. USCIS should consider alternative ways to
identify a person uniquely, if the fingerprinting is impossible for some
applicants.

11/4/2011 Sent letter to Congressman asking for help. Got a standard reply a
month later stating "USCIS is working on your case". Not sure if it helped
to expedite the case.
11/11/2011 Sent SR for both myself and LD. Both SR came back a month later.
LD's had "wait to be processed". Mine had "missing fingerprint". Called
USCIS a couple of times and finally got a nice officer who told me the
fingerprint I did many years ago had expired. They need me to do a new

第一个数字是count，后面是相应的status。
其中522个fee waived的是政治避难。
这些485 case是我用程序把9月末到11月末
所有NSC的receipt number扫描一遍抓出来的，
应该包括所有10月的case和绝大部分11月的case。
那时候都是review状态，所列出的时间就是RD。
接下来我打算每隔几天再跟踪这些485 case，
由于有RD，可以知道各个RD的批准情况。我到时会在这里update的~

They only take fingerprints twice. If they are rejected by the FBI 2X, then
you will be one of the ones scheduled for an interview due to "non-

当申请人进行身份调整时，USCIS 要对其进行背景检查 (Background Check)，以保证
国家利益和公众安全。这种背景检查主要包括三大块儿。
大家都知道，这三部分分别是 1) FBI Fingerprint Check, 2) FBI Name Checks, 和
3) The Interagency Border Inspection System (IBIS) Name Check.
FBI 的指纹检查，是通过采集申请人的十指指纹，和其数据库进行对比，以确定该人在
美国境内有无犯罪史。FBI 的 Name Checks (NC)，是针对申请人的个人信息，与其数
据库进行对比，以保证该人不会对对美国的国家利益和公众安全带来危害。而 IBIS 的

我们要去的这个中心即是赫赫有名，又臭名昭著的 Nebraska Service Center (NSC).
NSC, 又称 Lincole 中心，位于地瘠民贫的 Nebraska. 由于该中心的办公楼毗邻繁忙
的铁路枢纽（Amtrak 火车站仅在数百米之内），南来北往的火车噪音造成了该中心的
日益低下的效率。据 Michael Chertoff （Homeland Security Secretary 见图）的密
友称，USCIS 已有意将该中心挪至人烟稀少的 Alaska，以期加速其工作进度。这是后
话，暂且不提。
在这里，我们有幸地遇见了 F Gerard Heinauer 主任。但名字应该听说过吧，如雷贯
耳。寄申请要了回执的同学，那后面就会是盖的他的戳儿呀。还有，上个月有人告移民
局，此公代表 NSC 便名列其上。

an appointment notice as soon as there is an available date and time at
your locas ASC office. Due to backlogs at some sites it may take more than
60 days for this appointment to be scheduled.

早不current 晚不current， 偏偏在6月份current 了。 这场大水把这个旅行计划冲的

我的情况是这次只是小孩和我自己交485， 老公以后再交。 我和小孩是6月6号的回国
机票， 我6月22号返回， 小孩8月27号返程机票。 准备6月3号之前脚485， 然后回国
。 但律师说交完485 的1-3周内会被叫去打指纹,所以不建议离开。 BTW,我是TSC。 考
古了版上的帖子的 Timeline，觉得不会这末快。 即使幸运的一塌糊涂， 1周指纹通知
来了，考虑邮寄时间 真正的fingerprint appointment 怎木也得两周之后吧？这样算
来从交485 到 fingerprint appointment 最快也得三周， 到那时我都回来了。大拿们
说说我这样的算法对吗？
如果我按原计划， 6月6号回国， 回国之前交485， 6月22号返回（小孩该机票， 也在

发帖数: 1015 | 31 以前从来没买过联想的笔记本，今年买两次结果买两次有质量问题。
大概一个月前从Bestbuy买了个新的Yoga 3 Pro,8G+256G ssd， $720+tax，收到后第二
天第二次充电，刚连上电源线，电池就从20%左右降到0%，而且充不进电了。试着拔下
电源线，笔记本直接关机，重新插上电源线，倒是可以充电了，用HWinfo一看，
battery wear level 23%，等于才用了两天的笔记本电池就只有3/4的容量了。除此之
外，无线网卡信号弱的一塌糊涂。tablet模式下放在腿上就连不上大概10米以外的路由
了。我另外一个隔得更远的5年旧的烂Toshiba笔记本信号还是满格。幸好是Bestbuy买
的，赶紧退掉了事。
因为还是需要一个超极本，所以继续考虑XPS 13, HP Spectre x360，X1 Carbon 2 或
3。前几天正好Lenovo outlet上refurbished X1 Carbon 2, 8G, 128G SSD, 2560*1440

在加州,就去当地的fingerprint agency,他们都有现成的fingerprint表格,多交一个
dollar就是了.需要办理两份,价格可能各地不一样.可能至少10刀一份.办完了,就放在
你的L1A-E表格和交钱的收据,一起寄走就可以了.
这个fingerprint要注意,一定要写着equivalent to SD-258才可以用,否则不能用.
因为你已经交了申请费,CA Medical board会给你寄过来两张空白的fingerprint cards
,这个是肯定可以用的了.如果不放心,就等这个official的. |

Center) 发言人讨论有关程序方面的问题。以下是其中几点：
1) 有关Fingerprint的再预约
CSC 表示如果申请人错过了两次的Fingerprint约见，那么其I-485的申请很可能会被拒绝
。所以对于那些由于种种原因而没法赶上第一次预约的人士，在其第二次预约中务必出现
。以上须区别于移民局对个别申请要求多于一次的Fingerprint。(注意：Fingerprint是I
-485申请的必要部分，Fingerprint的推迟即等於整个申请的延迟。)
2)H-1B 的一年延期申请
AILA肯定了CSC有关6年H-1B限期后可再申请一年延期的政策，即所谓的“第7年H-1B” 。
在有合理理由的特殊情况之下，是可递交下一年的H-1B延期申请。
CSC肯定了以下几种符合延期的情况(注意：以下情况并非唯一的申请条件，由于这几种情
况较易混淆，CSC才着重提到) ：
劳工认证申请已递交超过365天，仍在State审理阶段。
递交了劳工认证365天后被拒绝，而上诉在进行中。

“USCIS 要对其进行背景检查 (Background Check)。。。 1) FBI Fingerprint Check
, 2) FBI Name Checks, 和 3) The Interagency Border Inspection System (IBIS)
Name Check.。。。这三部分的检查没有先后的顺序，也互不相联。”
Fingerprint check 一般很快，主要是Name check花时间。如果fingerprint不影响
name check进度的话就没必要提早walk in做fingerprint了。请知道的说说。 |

01/11/2017 check 被cash了，但是仍然没有收到短信和邮件。。。
01/13/2017 收到485，765，131的短信邮件通知， 01/10/2017 fingerprint fee
received
01/20/2017 Receipt Notice received
01/21/2017 Fingerprint Notice (02/03/2017 Fingerprint Date)

我知道你所说的被不停的叫去FINGERPRINTING的情况。你的朋友最后拿到了GC吗？
我准备FINGERPRINTING 后两个星期就给移民局打电话FILE SR。一般来说SR会有个回复
，看到回复说还是没收到FINGERPRINTING， 就继续打电话。我们是在和最官僚的机构
打交道，有什么办法呢？！实在是想不通这么明显的计算机错误，这么多年就没人FIX？ |

处理我们的case是NSC office 0309，动作还挺快
一直以为relink必须是同一个人去做，所以5月主申请人排期到了啥都没干。后来到了5
月中，仔细看了下本版才知道可以要求调换485主副申请人，于是赶紧要求调换到NIW处
理。但是一直没有收到relink回复，所以也不知道relink上了没有；就算是relink上了
，也不知道是link到主申请人NIW上，还是副申请人EB2上（毕竟两个140都current了）
