其中一个两天连个影子都没有出现过。
另外一个基本上11点多来,两三点钟走。。。。这个还要求12/23 - 12/25也上班,说要
换到3月份休。我上周就跟他再三叮嘱,星期四所有三个setup我都要用,我有事情要完
成。结果星期四早上去,他前一天把东西测了一个,还摊在那里,人不在,setup没换过
来,我只好继续测那些东西。好不容易等到他11点多来了,说他的东西没完成,NND,大
半天能完成的东西,三天了,只开个头。不怕队友笨,就怕队友是个猪啊。

qualify you as long term disability leave in which case, i believe only 60%
or 80% is paid. but most women will not be qualified as that. All the women
I have met only had 4 weeks (short term disability leave) + their own pto.
For man, I believe the 3 weeks include at least 2 weeks pto. |

其一,这跟法庭目前还无关,还在PTO阶段。
其二,UCB先申请,走的是正常流程。但是zhangfeng走的是一种正常大学一般都不会走
的流程,价格更贵,要求更龟毛,就是为了尽快抢到专利才会用的方法。之后他们抢下
来了,被用作prior art阻止了UCB的申请,UCB律师没办法才启动102(g)。而且既然他
们会主动启动102(g),应该是律师评估过目前的证据认为其有利于UCB的。如果你搞这
行就知道102g这东西有多罕见,不是证据有利且没有其他办法,一般不会走这条路。
而讲座这玩意儿,哪个教授都会做。但是卡在PTO宣布102g的两三天立马开个讲座,这
时间我也真的只能说是太醉人了。
总之我是就IP技术层面就事论事,要是没啥技术论上来就扣帽子,那就别讨论了。 |

。做讲座这种行为太正常不过了,而且也会很频繁。可能你不是做生物的或是离开这一
行比较久了,不太了解。象张锋这个级别的人到处都会有人请,更别说他这技术实在是
太hot,一年就是做个大几十场报告也不为怪。所以一个讲座和pto时间上接近不一定就
是为了pto的原因。另外,你怎么就那么肯定不是学校的律师,就是因为平时大家都不
这么做?你认为张锋真的会对专利法象你分析得那样,非常清楚整个流程?那你这种说
法有哪些事实上的根据呢?如果一切都是依据你的推测,那也很有可能你对他的印象是
先入为主,也不一定客观。
再者,不管两个学校如何争,两个主要当事人都是Editas的创始人,所以官司对这家公

be pretty good with that. I heard BRCM did get rid of the 2+ weeks PTO
vacation entitlement, and moved to a manager approval unlimited PTO
model.

先说说我面试的公司,我在7月初开始修改简历,然后把简历放到网上,期间收
到了这些公司的面试,AMD, NXP, Cirrus Logic, Intel, Intrinsix, Micrel,
Zarlink,3家小公司M/R/S.其中只有一个公司把我拒了,拿到了其他全部公司
的offer。另外拿到了TI和Qualcomm的on-site的面试机会,不过没时间去了,
就婉拒了。另外Atmel完成了电话面试之后说会给我消息,不过我已经没法等
了。还有一个比较奇怪的Analog Device的面试,他们没有工作位置,但是一
个部门的经理对我做的项目感兴趣,给我电话聊了一下。

几个不知所谓的无聊的人天天吹嘘什么麻醉护士。
麻醉护士不需要医生SUPERVISE的州,加州就算一个。工作中碰到的CRNA,中国人也是
说还是医生赚得更多,如果遇到复杂的病人需要医生帮忙善后。人家可是干了二十多年
的老CRNA了。结果几个才工作几年的CRNA就一副我二十万美金一年,牛的不要不要了的
样子,井底之蛙。
工作中碰到的PA,老PA,人家自己开诊所,年入上百万美金。
NP也可以年入五十万美金,做一个CRNA真的没有啥好吹嘘的,尤其是ultrasound
guided peripherial IV insertion,根本就不算什么新鲜事,也就是几个千老不懂,
外行在哪儿一惊一乍的,以为多了不起,很多年前在interventional radiology上班,
早就会了,并不是什么难事,二十分钟就会了,很多RN都会,这个东西真心不是什么高
难度动作。如果上个CRNA学校就学这么一点东西,真心就学费白交了,当然要是做a-
line,大静脉的central line那个因为执照的限制,只有advanced 执照的人才能做,

Got an offer for a medical group, they will either do it 1099, they will pay
$41 per patient with avg being 24-36 patients, Most of their NPs make over
$200,000 a year 1099.
They can also do $114,000 a year with full benefits.
Of course for 1099, you don't get health insurance/ 401K/CME/PTO/Sick pay/
7day national holiday pay etc, no license fees or DEA reimbursement, no
malpractice insurance, no life insurance, no job protection, no guarantee of

尽管一直做volunteer , 学校活动尽量参加(但是没加入PTO ), 一直觉得还是和学校隔
着一层, 不太了解学校的事, 比如哪个老师好, 哪个老师差等等gossip . 暑假里
和一个美国人家长聊天, 才知道人家对哪个老师的好坏知道的清清楚楚 (这美国人的三
个和我女儿孩子们一个学校, 她自己是另一个小学的老师), 说我女儿下学期如果能分
到老师 X班上就太走运了, 因为老师X 是顶尖级别的好老师.
回来后就满心期望女儿能分到老师X 班. 老公笑话:”还能轮到你? 好事当然是轮到
那些有关系的啦!” 果然没分到…. 沮丧. 得知一个学校活动积极分子的精明 印度
妈妈的小孩分到了老师X 班上, 我更沮丧.
女儿在 Kindergarten 时, 就发现几个PTO 家长的孩子都集中在另一个班上. 我女儿K

homeroom parent, 最少会有4个。主要职责是负责帮老师组织每学期的party,组织家长
给teacher appreciation day 的礼物,以及其它许许多多需要联系家长和协调活动的
事物。我估计这些pto member的孩子也会得到老师更多的注意力。我自己想了想,好像
还是不怎么擅长干这种活,就算了。还是白人全职妈妈更有优势啊。 |
