1. 不锈钢材质
2. 煮水快（我非常没有耐心，所以我觉得这个很重要--因为没有保温功能，所以如果
没有装到热水瓶，就是需要的时候才去按他煮水，通常就是为了泡茶泡咖啡，所以目标
都是准备其他工具的期间水可以刚好煮好，通常贵的跟便宜的主要差别也就在煮水时间
长短，所以你得看review）
3. 好清洗（其实为了2我后来牺牲了这个）
chefs choice在amazon上的评价很好
我自己有cuisinart的，我觉得煮水够快，只是一般比chefs choice贵很多，不是买的
时候有deal实在没必要 |

刚看了The 100 Foot Journey，很喜欢这部电影的清新。电影故事很简单，讲一户印度
人家，离乡背井到一个法国乡镇落脚，以开印度餐馆为生。这家的大儿子是个烹饪天才
。机遇巧合，他为一家法式餐厅赢得了第二颗米其林之星，从而成为巴黎烹饪明星。
法国的乡村景色为影片增色不少。几位演员表演也很到位。不认识印度名星，不过
Helen Mirren还是知道的。她扮演法式餐馆女老板，把角色对印度一家人的态度表现得
淋漓尽致。
我喜欢吃，美食美酒对我很有吸引力。看完这部片子就回想看过的饮食片。不多，一只
手都数得过来：饮食男女、Wayside、Julie & Julia、美食家, Like Water for
Chocolate。网上一看，有这么多啊，得补课了。

发帖数: 74 | 8 就是上次在chefs订的。一个是5.5 qt的圆锅，一个是1.5qt的塔吉锅。
那个5.5qt的一打开，就觉得size有点儿小，比我上次在WS看的LC 5.5qt小好多啊，不知
是怎么回事？仔细看了一下盒子，发现上面写的是staub 5qt。擦，chefs这搞的是什么
花活儿？就算是5qt，也不应该这么小啊。于是我特意把LC 2.75的锅跟staub的这个5q
t放在一块儿比较了一下，这个5qt看上去真没比2.75的大太多。我打过电话，他们也不
知道怎么回事，后来说我给我发退货单，现在还没收到。
塔吉锅看起来挺cute。不过那个塔形的盖子内部是陶的，我心里紧张起来，真怕哪天就
把它给磕坏了。今天用它做了煲仔饭，效果还是不错的。yummy。
总之，以后可能不会再收staub的锅了。有可能再收几个LC的锅，就算彻底拔草。 |

争很激烈，有些店的chef为了节省成本拼业绩，偷工减料不按recipe，做出来的东西可
能就不好吃了。公司有四大chef，没事就去好馆子，然后研究新菜。panda还有panda
inn是fine dinning，只在南加有。recipe里面有李锦鸡蚝油，李锦鸡是他们的partner。
老板是早年跟父亲移民的华人，老爸跟人合伙开中餐馆，散伙时候分两派。他ee
master毕业回家开餐馆，好多人不服他另起炉灶。老板娘是computer science phd在
cistco还是哪儿干过，回家帮他。然后他们从fine dinning开始转站快餐业，现在有
1000多家店。开到200家店的时候，另一伙人才只有几家店而以，所以好多人又回来给
他卖命了。

看来又换厨师了，之前那个好像是以前风味亭的，现在又变成老四川转会的，真是乱套
了。
Wife and I ate there last night. Apparently they changed their chef to the
one from Lao Sichuan. That guy doesn't know how to make a dish numbing for
whatever reason. Definitely took a turn for the worse sorry to say. Now,
where did the previous chef go to? I think his dishes tasted proper and
authentic. |
